The time for backyard food production is here. With increasing food costs, supply chain disruptions and an increase in awareness of the industrial food system more and more people are seeking out solutions. This is the precise reason I began EasyPeasy. For many years, I have been convinced that the solution to the “food problem” is quite simple, backyard gardens. My goal is to develop a platform to connect beginning gardeners with skilled contractors who can help them build a functional food production system in their yard utilizing the Permaculture Design Method. I find that raised bed gardens are great “gateway drug” to Permaculture, and once people begin to taste success in gardening, the will soon want more… berry patches, fruit trees, chicken coops, etc..
